The agenda for scheduled meetings is typically posted the
Friday prior to a Wednesday meeting.

PROCEDURES TO BE USED IN THE CONDUCT OF REGULAR BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS:

1. AGENDIZED ITEMS:  Any member of the audience who would like an opportunity to speak before the Board of Education during the discussion period of an agendized action item, may do so by submitting a "Request to Speak at Board of Education Meeting" form located on the table in the back of the Auditorium.  The Board President will recognize only those speakers who have submitted a “Request to Speak” form.  Time allowed for each individual is three minutes.  The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. Any disclosable public records related to an open session item on a regular meeting agenda and distributed by the John Swett Unified School District to a majority of members of the Board of Education less than 72 hours prior to that meeting are available for public inspection at 400 Parker Avenue, Rodeo, CA during normal business hours.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT:  During "Public Comment” period any member of the community may make suggestions, comments, or express concerns about any item that is not on the agenda.  Time allowed for each individual is three minutes. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. The Board President will recognize only those speakers who have submitted a "Request to Speak at Board of Education Meeting" form.  In accordance with provisions of the Brown Act, the Board may refer to the Administration any matters that are brought before them at this time, or the matter may be placed on a future agenda. 
3. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS, INCLUDING TRANSLATION SERVICES:  If you require special accommodations to participate in the Board meeting, please contact the Office of the Superintendent.

Regular Board meetings of the John Swett Unified School District Board of Education are typically held at 6:30 PM (Open Session) on the second Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise noted*) in the Board Room at the District Office, 400 Parker Avenue, Rodeo, CA 94572.
